Review Methodology

Every review on WildRun Reviews is built from the same research process. Here's exactly how we work.

What we use as sources

  • Official documentation and changelogs — features, model versions, context windows, and API limits sourced direct from the vendor.
  • Verified pricing pages — we link to live pricing pages and note when prices change. We never accept vendor-supplied "effective" prices.
  • Public benchmarks and independent evaluations — where community or third-party benchmarks exist, we cite them with links.
  • Developer reports and community feedback — real-world failure modes and edge cases sourced from forums, GitHub issues, and technical write-ups.

What we don't do

  • We do not accept payment to improve a tool's ranking or review score.
  • We do not claim to have personally tested every tool unless we explicitly say so. We make clear when assessment is based on documentation vs. hands-on use.
  • We do not fabricate benchmark numbers. If independent data doesn't exist, we say so.

Affiliate disclosure

Disclosure: We earn referral commissions from select partners. This doesn't influence our reviews — we recommend based on research, not revenue. Affiliate relationships never determine what we recommend — if a tool with no affiliate program is the best choice, we say so and link directly.

Currency and updates

AI tools change rapidly. We note the date of last review on each article and flag known changes when we update. Always verify pricing and capabilities on the vendor's official site before purchasing.
